Ingredients

1 lb ground beef (80/20)

1 cup breadcrumbs

1/2 cup grated parmesan cheese

1/4 cup finely chopped onion

2 cloves garlic, minced

1 large egg

1/2 cup milk

1 tbsp Worcestershire sauce

1 tsp dried thyme

1/2 tsp black pepper

1 tsp salt

1/4 cup ketchup

1/4 cup barbecue sauce

1/2 cup cream cheese, softened

1/4 cup sour cream

1 tbsp fresh chives, chopped (for garnish)

Instructions

Preheat Oven: Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).

Mix the Meatloaf: In a large bowl, combine the ground beef, breadcrumbs, parmesan cheese, chopped onion, minced garlic, egg, milk, Worcestershire sauce, dried thyme, black pepper, and salt. Mix until well combined.

Shape the Loaf: Transfer the meat mixture onto a baking sheet lined with parchment paper and shape it into a loaf, about 2 inches thick.

Prepare the Sauce: In a separate bowl, mix the ketchup and barbecue sauce. Spread half of the mixture evenly over the top of the meatloaf.

Bake: Place the meatloaf in the preheated oven and bake for about 45 minutes, or until the internal temperature reaches 160°F (70°C).

Create the Frosting: While the meatloaf is baking, prepare the frosting by mixing the softened cream cheese and sour cream in a bowl until smooth.

Frost the Meatloaf: Once the meatloaf is cooked, remove it from the oven. Allow it to cool for about 5 minutes before spreading the cream cheese frosting over the top using a spatula.

Final Touch: Drizzle the remaining ketchup and barbecue sauce mixture over the frosted meatloaf for an extra burst of flavor.

Garnish and Serve: Top with chopped fresh chives for an added touch of flavor and color. Slice and serve warm.
