Ingredients

8 oz. egg noodles

1 lb. flank steak, thinly sliced

4 tablespoons unsalted butter

6 cloves garlic, minced

1 tablespoon soy sauce

1 tablespoon oyster sauce

1 teaspoon sugar

1 teaspoon red pepper flakes (adjust to taste)

2 green onions, chopped

Salt and pepper to taste

Fresh cilantro, for garnish

Instructions

Begin by cooking the egg noodles according to the package instructions. Drain and set aside, tossing with a little oil to prevent sticking.

In a large skillet, melt 2 tablespoons of butter over medium-high heat. Add the minced garlic and sauté for about 30 seconds until fragrant but not browned.

Increase the heat to high and add the sliced flank steak to the pan. Season with salt, pepper, and red pepper flakes. Sear the steak for about 2-3 minutes on each side until cooked to your desired doneness. Remove the steak and set aside on a plate.

In the same skillet, lower the heat to medium and add the remaining 2 tablespoons of butter. Pour in the soy sauce, oyster sauce, and sugar. Stir to combine, then add the cooked noodles to the pan and toss until they are fully coated in the sauce.

Return the cooked flank steak to the skillet, mixing it into the noodles. Cook for an additional 2-3 minutes, allowing everything to heat through and meld together.

Remove from heat and stir in the chopped green onions for a fresh crunch.

Serve immediately, garnished with fresh cilantro for an additional pop of flavor.
