2 cups all-purpose flour

1/4 cup granulated sugar

1 packet (2 1/4 teaspoons) active dry yeast

1/2 teaspoon salt

1/2 cup milk, warmed

1/4 cup unsalted butter, melted

1 large egg

1 cup fresh strawberries, diced

1/2 cup cream cheese, softened

1/3 cup powdered sugar

1 teaspoon vanilla extract

1 teaspoon lemon juice

Additional butter for brushing

Extra powdered sugar for dusting

In a mixing bowl, combine the warm milk, sugar, and yeast. Let it sit for about 5 minutes, or until it becomes frothy.

    In another bowl, mix the flour and salt. Once the yeast mixture is ready, add it to the flour along with the melted butter and egg. Stir until a soft dough forms.

      Knead the dough on a floured surface for about 5-7 minutes until it is smooth and elastic. Place the dough in a greased bowl, cover with a kitchen towel, and let it rise in a warm place for about 1 hour, or until doubled in size.

        While the dough is rising, prepare the cheesecake filling. In a mixing bowl, beat the softened cream cheese, powdered sugar, vanilla extract, and lemon juice until smooth and creamy. Fold in the diced strawberries gently.

          After the dough has risen, punch it down and roll it out on a lightly floured surface into a rectangle of about 12x18 inches.

            Spread the cheesecake mixture evenly across the rolled-out dough. Starting from one long edge, roll the dough tightly into a log shape. Slice the log into 12 equal pieces.

              Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Arrange the rolls in a greased baking dish, leaving a bit of space between each one. Cover and let them rise for another 30 minutes.

                Bake the rolls for 25-30 minutes, or until they are golden brown. Once out of the oven, brush melted butter on top of the rolls while they're still warm.

                  For serving, dust with additional powdered sugar and serve warm.
