Ingredients

1 ½ pounds ground beef

1 cup breadcrumbs

1 large onion, finely chopped

2 cloves garlic, minced

1 large egg

½ cup milk

½ cup BBQ sauce (plus extra for topping)

3 tablespoons honey

1 teaspoon Worcestershire sauce

1 teaspoon smoked paprika

½ teaspoon salt

¼ teaspoon black pepper

Fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)

Instructions

Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).

In a large mixing bowl, combine the ground beef, breadcrumbs, chopped onion, minced garlic, egg, milk, ½ cup of BBQ sauce, honey, Worcestershire sauce, smoked paprika, salt, and pepper.

Using your hands, mix the ingredients together until just combined. Be careful not to overmix, as this can make the meatloaf dense.

Transfer the meat mixture to a loaf pan and shape it into a loaf. Smooth the top with a spatula.

Spread an additional ¼ cup of BBQ sauce evenly over the top of the meatloaf for added flavor and a beautiful glaze.

Bake in the preheated oven for about 60 minutes, or until the internal temperature reaches 160°F (70°C) and the juices run clear.

Once cooked, remove the meatloaf from the oven and let it rest for about 10 minutes before slicing to allow the juices to redistribute.

Garnish with chopped fresh parsley before serving.

                  Prep Time: 15 minutes | Total Time: 1 hour 15 minutes | Servings: 6

                    - Presentation Tips: Slice the meatloaf and serve on a platter drizzled with a little extra BBQ sauce. Pair with a side of creamy mashed potatoes and steamed green beans for a complete meal.
