Ingredients

4 salmon fillets (about 6 oz each)

1/4 cup unsalted butter

2 tablespoons honey

2 tablespoons fresh lime juice

4 cloves garlic, minced

1 teaspoon lime zest

1 teaspoon soy sauce (or tamari for gluten-free)

Salt and pepper to taste

Fresh cilantro or parsley for garnish

Instructions

Preheat the Oven: Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper for easy cleanup.

Make the Honey-Lime Garlic Butter: In a small saucepan over low heat, melt the butter. Once melted, whisk in the honey, lime juice, minced garlic, lime zest, and soy sauce until smooth and well combined. Remove from heat.

Prepare the Salmon: Place the salmon fillets skin-side down on the prepared baking sheet. Season with salt and pepper to taste.

Glaze the Salmon: Pour the honey-lime garlic butter mixture evenly over the salmon fillets, ensuring they are well coated. Reserve a little bit of the glaze for drizzling just before serving, if desired.

Bake: Place the baking sheet in the preheated oven and bake for 15-20 minutes, or until the salmon is cooked through and flakes easily with a fork. The internal temperature should reach 145°F (63°C).

Garnish and Serve: Once baked, remove the salmon from the oven. Drizzle any remaining honey-lime garlic sauce over the top and garnish with freshly chopped cilantro or parsley.
