1 pound sirloin steak, cut into 1-inch cubes

4 tablespoons unsalted butter

4 cloves garlic, minced

1 teaspoon fresh rosemary, chopped

1 teaspoon fresh thyme, chopped

Salt and pepper to taste

1 tablespoon olive oil

Fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)

Begin by patting the steak cubes dry with paper towels. This helps to achieve a good sear and enhances flavor.

    Season the steak cubes generously with salt and pepper on all sides.

      In a large skillet, heat the olive oil over medium-high heat until it shimmers.

        Add the seasoned steak bites to the skillet in a single layer. Sear them for about 2-3 minutes on each side, or until they have a nice golden crust but are still medium-rare in the center. You may need to work in batches to avoid overcrowding the pan.

          Once the steak bites are cooked to your liking, transfer them to a plate and cover loosely with foil to keep warm.
