Ingredients

1 package of wonton wrappers (about 12-16 wrappers)

1 cup cream cheese, softened

1 cup shredded cheddar cheese

1/2 cup jalapeños, finely diced (fresh or pickled)

2 tablespoons sour cream

1 teaspoon garlic powder

1 teaspoon onion powder

Salt and pepper to taste

Cooking spray or olive oil for greasing

Fresh cilantro, for garnish (optional)

Instructions

Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).

Lightly grease a muffin tin with cooking spray or a little olive oil to prevent sticking.

Gently press the wonton wrappers into the muffin cups, creating a cup shape. Make sure they fit snugly. You can overlap them if needed to create a sturdy base.

In a mixing bowl, combine the softened cream cheese, shredded cheddar cheese, diced jalapeños, sour cream, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper. Mix until well blended and creamy.

Carefully spoon the jalapeño mixture into each wonton cup, filling them generously but not overflowing.

Bake in the preheated oven for 15-20 minutes or until the wontons are golden brown and the cheese filling is bubbly.

Remove from the oven and let cool for a few minutes before gently lifting the cups out of the muffin tin.

Garnish with fresh cilantro for a pop of color and flavor, if desired. Serve warm.
