Ingredients

4 cups water

3 tablespoons black tea leaves (or 4 tea bags)

1 cup fresh pineapple juice

½ cup freshly squeezed lemon juice

¼ cup honey or agave syrup (adjust to taste)

Fresh pineapple slices and lemon wedges for garnish

Fresh mint leaves for garnish

Instructions

Bring the water to a boil in a medium saucepan.

Once boiling, remove it from the heat and add the black tea leaves or tea bags. Steep for about 5-7 minutes, depending on your desired strength.

Remove the tea leaves or bags. Stir in the honey or agave syrup while the tea is still warm to ensure it dissolves completely.

Let the tea cool down to room temperature, then refrigerate until chilled (about 1-2 hours).

In a large pitcher, combine the chilled tea with fresh pineapple juice and lemon juice. Stir well to combine all flavors.

Taste and adjust sweetness if necessary by adding more honey or agave syrup.

To serve, fill glasses with ice and pour the lemony pineapple iced tea over the ice.

Garnish each glass with fresh pineapple slices, lemon wedges, and a few mint leaves for a refreshing touch.
