Ingredients

1 lb (450g) ground beef

4 cups green cabbage, finely shredded

1 medium onion, sliced

2 cloves garlic, minced

1 bell pepper (red or yellow), sliced

2 tablespoons soy sauce (low sodium)

1 tablespoon sesame oil

1 teaspoon ginger, grated

Salt and pepper to taste

1 teaspoon red pepper flakes (optional, for heat)

2 green onions, chopped (for garnish)

1 tablespoon sesame seeds (for garnish)

Instructions

In a large skillet or wok, heat the sesame oil over medium-high heat.

Add the sliced onion and minced garlic. Sauté until the onion becomes translucent, about 2-3 minutes.

Increase the heat to high and add the ground beef to the skillet. Cook until browned and fully cooked, breaking it apart with a spatula, about 5-7 minutes.

Stir in the grated ginger and red pepper flakes (if using), mixing well for an additional minute.

Add the sliced bell pepper and shredded cabbage to the skillet. Pour in the soy sauce and toss all the ingredients together.

Cook for another 5-7 minutes, or until the cabbage is just tender but still crisp, stirring frequently.

Season with salt and pepper to taste. If desired, adjust with more soy sauce for flavor preference.

Remove from heat and top with chopped green onions and sesame seeds before serving.

                  Prep Time: 10 minutes | Total Time: 25 minutes | Servings: 4

                    - Presentation Tips: Serve the stir fry in a large bowl or plate, garnished with extra green onions and a sprinkle of sesame seeds. Pair with a small side of sliced cucumbers for a refreshing contrast.
