Ingredients

1 lb ground beef

1 teaspoon garlic powder

1 teaspoon onion powder

1 teaspoon smoked paprika

Salt and pepper to taste

8 mini hamburger buns

8 slices of cheddar cheese

1 cup shredded iceberg lettuce

1 medium tomato, sliced

1/2 cup pickles, sliced

1/4 cup mayonnaise

2 tablespoons ketchup

1 tablespoon yellow mustard

1 tablespoon pickle juice

Sesame seeds for garnish (optional)

Instructions

Prepare the Beef: In a large bowl, combine ground beef, garlic powder, onion powder, smoked paprika, salt, and pepper. Mix until just combined, being careful not to overwork the meat.

Form Patties: Divide the beef mixture into 8 equal portions and shape them into mini patties, making them slightly larger than your buns since they will shrink while cooking.

Cook the Patties: Preheat a skillet or grill over medium-high heat. Cook the mini patties for about 3-4 minutes on each side, or until they reach your desired doneness. In the last minute of cooking, place a slice of cheddar cheese atop each patty, allowing it to melt.

Prepare the Special Sauce: In a small bowl, mix together mayonnaise, ketchup, yellow mustard, and pickle juice. Adjust the ingredients to suit your taste if needed.

Assemble the Burgers: On the bottom half of each mini bun, spread a generous amount of the special sauce. Add a mini cheeseburger patty, then top with shredded lettuce, a slice of tomato, and pickles. Finally, place the top half of the bun on each burger.

Optional Toasting: If desired, lightly toast the assembled burgers in a clean skillet or on the grill for about 1 minute to give them a nice crunch.

Garnish and Serve: If you like, sprinkle sesame seeds on top of the buns for added texture and flavor. Serve these delightful mini cheeseburgers warm with extra special sauce on the side for dipping.
