Ingredients

1 cup Nutella

1 cup crushed digestive biscuits (or graham crackers)

1/2 cup cream cheese, softened

1 cup dark chocolate chips (for coating)

1/2 cup finely chopped hazelnuts (for coating)

1/4 cup cocoa powder (for coating)

A pinch of sea salt

Instructions

In a medium bowl, mix the Nutella and softened cream cheese until smooth and well combined.

Gradually add the crushed digestive biscuits to the mixture, stirring until it forms a thick dough.

Chill the mixture in the refrigerator for about 30 minutes to make it easier to handle.

Once chilled, remove the mixture from the refrigerator and use your hands to roll small portions (about 1 inch in diameter) into balls. Place the truffles on a parchment-lined tray.

For the coating, melt the dark chocolate chips in a microwave-safe bowl in 30-second intervals or over a double boiler until fully melted.

Dip each truffle into the melted chocolate, allowing the excess to drip off, and then roll them in the chopped hazelnuts or cocoa powder, or leave them plain.

Place the coated truffles back onto the parchment-lined tray. Once all truffles are coated, return them to the fridge for another 30 minutes to set.

If desired, sprinkle a pinch of sea salt over the truffles before they fully set for an added flavor contrast.

Prep Time: 30 minutes | Total Time: 1 hour 30 minutes | Servings: 20 truffles

                    - Presentation Tips: Serve the truffles in a decorative box or a small glass jar lined with colorful tissue paper. For an elegant touch, drizzle some additional melted chocolate over the top before serving.
