Instructions
Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease a 9x13 inch baking dish.
In a large bowl, combine the drained peaches with brown sugar and cinnamon. Stir until the peaches are well-coated.
Pour the peach mixture evenly into the prepared baking dish and spread out evenly.
In a separate bowl, combine the yellow cake mix and chopped pecans (if using). Sprinkle this mixture evenly over the peaches in the baking dish.
Drizzle the melted butter over the cake mix ensuring even coverage.
Bake in the preheated oven for 40-45 minutes, or until the top is golden brown and bubbly.
Remove from oven and let cool for about 10 minutes before serving.
For an extra treat, serve warm with a scoop of vanilla ice cream on top.
