Ingredients

4 frozen lobster tails

4 tablespoons unsalted butter, melted

2 cloves garlic, minced

1 tablespoon fresh lemon juice

1 teaspoon paprika

1 teaspoon old bay seasoning

Salt and pepper to taste

Fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)

Lemon wedges (for serving)

Instructions

Thaw the Lobster Tails: Place the frozen lobster tails in the refrigerator for 8-12 hours to thaw. If you need to thaw them quickly, submerge the sealed lobster tails in cold water for about 30-60 minutes.

Preheat the Oven: Preheat your oven to 425°F (220°C). Line a baking sheet with aluminum foil and place a wire rack on top of the sheet.

Prepare the Lobster Tails: Using kitchen scissors, carefully cut the top shell of each lobster tail lengthwise, stopping just before the tail fin. Gently pull apart the shell to expose the meat, keeping the meat attached at the base.

Prepare the Garlic Butter Sauce: In a small bowl, combine the melted butter, minced garlic, lemon juice, paprika, Old Bay seasoning, salt, and pepper. Mix until well combined.

Baste the Lobster: Place the lobster tails on the wire rack, meat side up. Brush a generous amount of the garlic butter mixture over the lobster meat, ensuring it’s evenly coated.

Bake the Lobster Tails: Place the prepared lobster tails in the preheated oven and bake for approximately 12-15 minutes, or until the meat is opaque and easily flakes with a fork. Baste with additional garlic butter halfway through cooking for added flavor.

Finish and Serve: Once cooked through, remove the lobster tails from the oven and let them rest for a couple of minutes. Garnish with freshly chopped parsley and serve with lemon wedges on the side.
