Ingredients

8 oz. penne pasta

1 lb. steak (ribeye or sirloin), thinly sliced

1 medium onion, sliced

1 red bell pepper, sliced

1 green bell pepper, sliced

3 cloves garlic, minced

2 tablespoons olive oil

1 teaspoon salt

1/2 teaspoon black pepper

1 teaspoon garlic powder

1 cup beef broth

1 cup cream cheese, softened

1 cup shredded provolone cheese

1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese

Fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)

Instructions

Cook the Pasta: In a large pot of salted boiling water, cook the penne pasta according to package instructions until al dente. Drain and set aside.

Sauté the Vegetables: In a large skillet, heat 2 tablespoons of olive oil over medium heat. Add the sliced onion, red and green bell peppers, and sauté for about 5-7 minutes until they are soft and slightly caramelized. Add the minced garlic and cook for an additional minute until fragrant. Remove the vegetables from the skillet and set aside.

Cook the Steak: In the same skillet, add the thinly sliced steak. Season with salt, black pepper, and garlic powder. Cook the steak for about 5-7 minutes, stirring frequently, until browned and cooked to your preference.

Combine Ingredients: Return the sautéed vegetables to the skillet with the steak. Pour in the beef broth and bring to a simmer. Stir in the cream cheese until it's completely melted and combined, creating a creamy sauce.

Add Cheeses and Pasta: Once the cream cheese is fully integrated, add the cooked penne pasta to the skillet. Toss everything together until the pasta is thoroughly coated in the creamy cheese sauce. Finally, stir in the shredded provolone and grated Parmesan cheese until melted and well combined.

Serve and Garnish: Remove from heat and garnish with fresh parsley. Serve hot and enjoy your delicious Philly Cheesesteak Pasta!
