Ingredients

1 lb ribeye steak, thinly sliced

1 tablespoon olive oil

1 medium onion, sliced

1 medium green bell pepper, sliced

1/2 cup mushrooms, sliced

Salt and pepper to taste

8 slider buns

1 cup provolone cheese, shredded

1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce

1 tablespoon garlic powder

1 tablespoon butter, for brushing

Instructions

Prep the Steak: Start by ensuring your ribeye steak is very thinly sliced. If it’s slightly frozen, it’ll be easier to slice.

Cook the Vegetables: In a large skillet, heat the olive oil over medium heat. Add the sliced onion and bell pepper, sautéing for about 5 minutes until they start to soften. Add the mushrooms and cook for another 3-4 minutes until all the vegetables are tender. Season with salt, pepper, and Worcestershire sauce. Remove the mixture from the skillet and set aside.

Cook the Steak: In the same skillet, add a bit more olive oil if needed. Add the thinly sliced ribeye and sprinkle with garlic powder, salt, and pepper. Cook for about 3-4 minutes, stirring constantly, until the steak is browned and cooked through.

Combine Mixture: Add the vegetable mixture back into the skillet with the steak and mix well. Remove from heat.

Assemble Sliders: Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Slice the slider buns in half, keeping the top and bottom intact. Place the bottom halves in a baking dish. Spoon the steak and vegetable mixture evenly over the buns. Top with shredded provolone cheese. Place the top halves of the buns over the cheese.

Brush and Bake: Melt the butter and brush it over the top of the slider buns. Cover the baking dish with aluminum foil and bake for 10 minutes. Remove the foil and bake for another 5 minutes or until the cheese is melted and the tops are golden.

Serve: Remove from the oven, let cool for a few minutes, and slice along the perforated lines between the sliders. Serve warm.
