Ingredients

1 pound pizza dough (store-bought or homemade)

1/2 pound beef steak, thinly sliced (ribeye or sirloin works great)

1 cup bell peppers, sliced (mix of red and green)

1/2 cup yellow onion, sliced

2 cups shredded provolone cheese

2 tablespoons olive oil

1 teaspoon garlic powder

1 teaspoon dried oregano

Salt and pepper to taste

Extra melted butter for brushing

Fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)

Instructions

Preheat the Oven: Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.

Cook the Steak and Vegetables: In a large skillet over medium-high heat, add the olive oil. Once hot, add the sliced onions and bell peppers. Sauté for about 5 minutes until they are soft.

Add Steak to the Skillet: Push the vegetables to one side of the skillet and add the sliced steak. Season with garlic powder, oregano, salt, and pepper. Cook for 3-4 minutes until the steak is browned and cooked to your liking. Mix everything together and remove from heat.

Roll Out the Dough: On a floured surface, roll out the pizza dough into a rectangle, about 1/4 inch thick. Cut the dough into long strips, approximately 3 inches wide.

Assemble the Stuffed Breadsticks: At the center of each dough strip, place a generous amount of the steak and vegetable mixture. Top with a handful of shredded provolone cheese.

Fold and Seal: Fold the dough over the filling, pressing the edges to seal. You can use a fork to crimp the edges for a decorative touch.

Brush with Butter: Place the stuffed breadsticks on the prepared baking sheet. Brush the tops with melted butter for a golden finish.

Bake: Bake in the preheated oven for about 15-20 minutes until the breadsticks are golden brown and the cheese is bubbling.

Garnish and Serve: Once baked, remove from the oven and let them cool for a few minutes. Sprinkle with chopped fresh parsley for a pop of color.

Enjoy: Serve the Philly Cheesesteak Stuffed Cheesy Breadsticks warm, perhaps with a side of marinara sauce or ranch dressing for dipping.
