1 package of refrigerated pizza dough (or homemade dough)

1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese

1 cup sliced pepperoni

1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese

1 teaspoon garlic powder

1 teaspoon Italian seasoning

1/4 cup pizza sauce (for dipping)

Olive oil (for brushing)

Fresh basil leaves (for garnish)

Instructions
 

Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.

    On a lightly floured surface, roll out the pizza dough into a rectangle, about 1/4 inch thick.

      Sprinkle the garlic powder and Italian seasoning evenly over the dough for added flavor.

        Distribute the shredded mozzarella cheese evenly over the dough, leaving a small border around the edges.

          Layer the sliced pepperoni over the cheese, followed by a sprinkle of grated Parmesan cheese.

            Starting from one end, carefully roll the dough into a tight log, making sure the filling stays inside.

              Using a sharp knife or pizza cutter, slice the rolled dough into 1-2 inch thick pieces.

                Place the rolled pieces cut-side up on the prepared baking sheet.

                  Brush the tops with olive oil to give them a golden finish as they bake.

                    Bake in the preheated oven for 15-18 minutes or until the rolls are golden brown and the cheese has melted.

                      Remove from the oven and allow to cool slightly before serving.

                        Serve the pizza rolls warm with a side of pizza sauce for dipping and garnish with fresh basil leaves.
