Ingredients

1 pound breakfast sausage

8 large eggs

2 cups milk

1 teaspoon garlic powder

1 teaspoon onion powder

1/2 teaspoon paprika

1/4 teaspoon black pepper

1 can (16.3 oz) refrigerated biscuits

2 cups shredded cheddar cheese

1/4 cup chopped green onions (for garnish)

Instructions

Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and lightly grease a 9x13 inch baking dish.

In a skillet over medium heat, cook the sausage until browned and fully cooked, breaking it into small pieces as it cooks. Drain excess grease and set aside.

In a mixing bowl, whisk together the eggs, milk, garlic powder, onion powder, paprika, and black pepper until well combined.

Open the can of refrigerated biscuits and cut each biscuit into quarters. Add the biscuit pieces to the greased baking dish, spreading them out evenly.

Sprinkle the cooked sausage over the biscuit pieces, followed by half of the shredded cheddar cheese.

Pour the egg mixture evenly over the biscuits and sausage, making sure everything is coated.

Top the casserole with the remaining shredded cheddar cheese.

Bake in the preheated oven for 30-35 minutes or until the casserole is set and the top is golden brown.

Remove from the oven and let it cool for about 5 minutes before slicing.

Garnish with chopped green onions and serve warm.
