Instructions
If using frozen edamame, cook them according to the package instructions. Drain and set aside.
In a large skillet, heat the olive oil over medium heat.
Add the minced garlic to the skillet and sauté for about 1-2 minutes until fragrant but not browned.
Stir in the red pepper flakes and continue to sauté for another minute to infuse the oil with heat.
Add the cooked edamame pods to the skillet and toss to coat them well with the garlic and oil mixture.
Drizzle soy sauce and sesame oil over the edamame, stirring to combine all the flavors.
Sauté for an additional 3-4 minutes, allowing the edamame to absorb the flavors.
Remove from heat, sprinkle with toasted sesame seeds and season with salt to taste.
Garnish with chopped green onions before serving.
Notes
Serve in a large bowl or individual small bowls. Consider adding lime wedges for freshness.
