Ingredients

1 lb large shrimp, peeled and deveined

4 cloves garlic, minced

1 tablespoon fresh ginger, grated

1-2 red chili peppers, finely chopped (adjust to taste)

2 tablespoons olive oil

1 tablespoon butter

2 tablespoons soy sauce

1 tablespoon honey

1 tablespoon lime juice

Salt and pepper to taste

Fresh cilantro, chopped (for garnish)

Lime wedges (for serving)

Instructions

In a bowl, combine soy sauce, honey, and lime juice. Mix well and set aside.

In a large skillet, heat olive oil and butter over medium-high heat. Once the butter has melted and the oil is hot, add minced garlic and grated ginger. Sauté for 30 seconds until fragrant.

Add the chopped red chili peppers to the skillet and stir for another 30 seconds to infuse the oil with the spicy flavor.

Toss in the shrimp, seasoning with salt and pepper. Cook for about 2-3 minutes on one side until they start turning pink.

Flip the shrimp and pour the soy sauce mixture over them. Continue to cook for another 2-3 minutes or until the shrimp are completely pink and opaque. Make sure they are well coated in the sauce.

Remove from heat, and garnish with fresh cilantro. Serve immediately with lime wedges on the side.
