Ingredients

2 cups fresh strawberries, hulled and halved

1 cup plain Greek yogurt

1/2 cup honey or maple syrup

1 teaspoon vanilla extract

1 tablespoon fresh lemon juice

A pinch of salt

Instructions

In a blender or food processor, add the hulled strawberries and blend until smooth. You can leave some small chunks for texture if you prefer.

In a mixing bowl, combine the strawberry puree with Greek yogurt, honey (or maple syrup), vanilla extract, lemon juice, and a pinch of salt. Mix until well combined and smooth.

Taste the mixture and adjust sweetness with more honey or sweetness according to your preference.

Pour the mixture into an ice cream maker and churn according to the manufacturer’s instructions until it reaches a soft-serve consistency (about 20-25 minutes).

For a firmer texture, transfer the churned yogurt into an airtight container and freeze for an additional 2-3 hours.

When ready to serve, let the frozen yogurt sit at room temperature for about 5 minutes to soften slightly before scooping.

Prep Time: 15 minutes | Total Time: 25 minutes + freezing | Servings: 4-6 servings
