Ingredients

1 large round sourdough bread loaf

1 cup cooked shrimp, diced

1 cup cooked crab meat

1 cup cream cheese, softened

½ cup mayonnaise

1 tablespoon Dijon mustard

1 tablespoon lemon juice

1 teaspoon Old Bay seasoning

1 teaspoon garlic powder

½ cup shredded mozzarella cheese

¼ cup chopped green onions

¼ cup chopped fresh parsley

Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).

Carefully hollow out the inside of the sourdough bread loaf, leaving about 1-inch thick walls. Save the removed bread to use as dippers later.

In a large bowl, combine the cooked shrimp and crab meat.

Add the softened cream cheese, mayonnaise, Dijon mustard, lemon juice, Old Bay seasoning, garlic powder, mozzarella cheese, green onions, and parsley to the seafood.

Season the mixture with salt and pepper to taste, then mix until well combined and creamy.

Spoon the seafood mixture into the hollowed-out bread bowl, packing it in gently.

Place the filled bread bowl on a baking sheet and cover loosely with aluminum foil. Bake in the preheated oven for 20 minutes.

Remove the foil and bake for an additional 10-15 minutes, or until the top is golden and bubbly.

Once out of the oven, allow the bread bowl to cool for a few minutes before serving.
