Ingredients

1 fresh baguette, sliced on the diagonal

4 tablespoons unsalted butter, softened

2 cloves garlic, minced

1 teaspoon fresh rosemary, chopped

1 teaspoon fresh thyme, chopped

1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese

1 teaspoon sea salt

1/2 teaspoon cracked black pepper

Optional: 1/4 teaspoon red pepper flakes for a kick

Instructions

Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).

In a mixing bowl, combine softened butter, minced garlic, chopped rosemary, chopped thyme, sea salt, cracked black pepper, and red pepper flakes (if using). Mix well until all ingredients are fully incorporated.

Take the baguette slices and spread a generous amount of the butter mixture on one side of each slice. Ensure even coverage to achieve maximum flavor.

Place the buttered slices on a baking sheet in a single layer, buttered side up.

Sprinkle grated Parmesan cheese over each slice, ensuring an even distribution.

Bake in the preheated oven for about 10-12 minutes, or until the edges are golden brown and crispy.

For extra crispiness, you can broil them for an additional 1-2 minutes, keeping a close eye to avoid burning.

Once done, remove from the oven and allow to cool for a minute before serving.
