Ingredients

2 cups watermelon, cubed and seeded

1 teaspoon matcha green tea powder

1 cup coconut water

1 tablespoon honey or agave syrup (optional)

Juice of 1 lime

Fresh mint leaves for garnish

Ice cubes

Instructions

Prepare the Watermelon: Place the cubed watermelon in a blender and blend until smooth. If you prefer a smoother drink, you can strain the juice through a fine-mesh sieve into a bowl or pitcher.

Matcha Mixture: In a small bowl, whisk together the matcha powder with a couple of tablespoons of warm water until it forms a smooth paste. This helps to avoid clumping in your drink.

Combine Ingredients: In a large jug, combine the watermelon juice, coconut water, honey (if using), lime juice, and the prepared matcha paste. Stir well until everything is mixed thoroughly.

Chill: For a refreshing drink, place the mixture in the refrigerator for about 30 minutes to chill.

Serve: Fill glasses with ice cubes and pour the chilled watermelon matcha refresher over the ice.

Garnish: Add fresh mint leaves to each glass for an aromatic touch before serving.
