Ingredients

2 cups cooked chicken, shredded

1 cup frozen mixed vegetables (peas, carrots, corn)

1 can (10.5 oz) cream of chicken soup

½ cup milk

1 cup shredded cheddar cheese

1 teaspoon garlic powder

1 teaspoon onion powder

1 teaspoon dried thyme

½ teaspoon black pepper

1 package (8 oz) refrigerated crescent roll dough

Fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)

Instructions

Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).

In a large mixing bowl, combine the shredded chicken, frozen mixed vegetables, cream of chicken soup, milk, garlic powder, onion powder, thyme, and black pepper. Stir until well combined.

Spread the chicken mixture evenly in a greased 9x13 inch baking dish.

Sprinkle the shredded cheddar cheese over the chicken mixture.

Unroll the crescent roll dough and lay it over the cheese and chicken mixture, pinching the seams together to prevent gaps. Optionally, you can cut the dough into strips and lay them in a lattice pattern.

Bake in the preheated oven for 25-30 minutes or until the dough is golden brown and cooked through.

Remove from the oven and allow to cool for 5 minutes. Garnish with fresh chopped parsley before serving.
